Social Participation
Children and parents' council
As part of our drive to involve parents and children in the practical aspects of our programme, we hold regular general information meetings and elect representatives to the Student and Parent Councils. These representatives:
• Provide input for holiday programs
• Help organise meetings and workshops
• Play an active part in school life
• Help select, write and produce music, theatre and other performances
Social projects
The older children are expected to organise and take responsibility for a social event to enhance their own district or neighbourhood. As of 2010, this includes defining their own budget based on the annual activity plan drawn up by the student’s council.
